Helloo, Flora here founder of Washed Up cards, if you've been following my journey this summer you'll know that I've finally realised it's time to grow what I do!
It's crazy when I think it all started back in lockdown I started making greeting cards decorated with plastic I was finding on walks along the River Thames. The cards started encouraging people to want to get involved beach cleaning with me.
Fast forward 5 years I've now run over 200 litter picks with companies, schools and various other communities. I've also run card making workshops with the likes of Adidas, Barclays and Chelsea Football Club. I hope that all my events and workshops help people connect with nature and each other more.
So far I've been running solo with Washed Up Cards but I'm now at the exciting / scary stage of growing what I've built so far..
I'm looking to find 4 brilliant humans to train and pay to run events as Washed Up leaders
- run beach cleans and / or card making workshops
- London based initially as this is where bulk of events are
- people who love people, nature and the outdoors
- people who are super reliable and well organised
- Previous experience in events, community engagement, volunteering, or environmental projects would brillaint but not essential
- Flexible part-time work
Please get in touch washedupcards@gmail.com if this sounds up your street and I'd be delighted to find out more about you :)
